Dr. Nilesh Gautam is a Mumbai-based Cardiologist currently attached to the Asian Heart Institute in Bandra (East) as Senior Interventional Cardiologist. In addition, he is on the panel of doctors at Mahaveer Hospital (Khar), Smt. B C J General Hospital (Santa Cruz) and Guru Nanak Hospital (Bandra East), as Senior Consultant Cardiologist. He can also be consulted at his private clinic in Santa Cruz.

Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Gautam is Course Co-Director for IGNOU University's Diploma in Cardiology training programme, and a postgraduate teacher for DNB Cardiology students at Asian Heart Institute. He is active in several medical associations. He served as Vice President (West Zone) for the Heart Failure Society of India in 2007-08.

Dr. Gautam completed his medical education from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha, Nagpur (MBBS); Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune (MD General Medicine); and, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital & Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai (DM Cardiology).
